Michele: What do you do in the WordPress ecosystem?
Chris: Develop a plugin for building courses and training based membership sites called LifterLMS.
Michele: How did you get involved with WordPress?
Chris: I started a blog about Outdoor Leadership in 2008.

Michele: What does the Open Source Community mean to you?
Chris: I love being able to innovate online with an entire community of cool and diverse people. I couldn’t imagine it any other way.

Chris: WooCommerce
Michele: Do you have a favorite theme or framework you like to use?
Chris: I love page builders and Gutenberg because I can’t code!
Michele: If you could change one thing in WordPress, what would it be?
Chris: I would like the plugin usage data to be more detailed and freely available.
Michele: What is your most memorable WordPress moment?
Chris: My first CaboPress with Chris Lema was my first time out from behind my computer venturing out to meet other WP people. CaboPress ruins all other conferences because it is so amazing.
Michele: What is one piece of advice you would give to someone just getting started with WordPress?
Chris: Use tons of plugins, then later aspire to being a minimalist.
Michele: What do you think is in store for the future of WordPress?
Chris: WordPress is going to be the new open source education operating system of the future meeting the need for remote learning and a new economic model.
